Caitlin and Laura talk about baby bullies and loners, and how their sons have been acting lately. Then they talk about diets (specifically low carb and no carb no sugar diets) – at which point we actually talk about delicious food we can’t have, of course! Caitlin’s #idontgotthis revolved around what was on the floor, while Laura’s has to do with what’s walking on it.
Laura and Caitlin open the show by discussing old flames and online dating. Laura’s #idontgotthis revolves around the challenges of The Nap, while Caitlin’s is diaper rash related – warning, there’s poop involved! But to be honest, when isn’t poop involved?

Caitlin talks about solo parenting when you have a late-working spouse and relates how good her toddler with his ring bearer duties. Laura’s usually great sleeper had a weird night, transitioning from two naps to one, and hormonal stuff around stopping breastfeeding that surprised her.
So you’ve done all the hard work: you’ve read a book, made a plan, and executed a sleep training program. Bedtime routine is relaxing and fun. He’s going to bed at the same time every night. He’s sleeping through the night consistently! You feel like you have your life back!
Laura is away for the week so today Caitlin talks to guest co-host Toni about fast beauty for moms (or anyone, really) who are tired, running after littles, or just in need of quick tips for putting themselves together in the morning. Enjoy! (We apologize for the banging about in the audio, the babies really wanted our attention today!)
*Disclaimer: We are not mental health professionals or doctors. Please consult your doctor on whether sleep training is appropriate for your child’s age and developmental stage.
Congratulations! You’ve started what probably seemed like the hardest thing you could attempt (outside of labor – maybe). (If you haven’t read Part 1: The Basics, go back and read it first – it’ll make more sense.)
We answer a listener question about sleep training and talk about the method we use, what our experience was, other sleep training methods, and general sleep training thoughts. As usual, we talk about our #igotthis and #idontgotthis moments of the week, which are starting to revolve around the fact that we now have TODDLERS.
